Myrtle Beach, SC – Myrtle Beach Prep has planned its first visit/open house opportunity of the new year. The Marauders want to invite all potential athletes to attend on January 11th 2020 as they prepare to allow all athletes the opportunity to see the facilities, meet the staff, and most importantly see if Myrtle Beach Prep is the place for you next year. This is a chance for those looking to obtain more information about the program to not only get information but see where they will live and even more.
The event will start with with everyone meeting at Doug Shaw Stadium at 10:00 AM. This starting point will all the Marauders show recruits their home field and then continue with the visit as they are shown other locations viable to the teams success. They will also be able to gather the much needed information about the program and organization.
We did asked Coach Ikard about the main reason that the Marauders are planning the visits and to be so open with their process this year for not only athletes but their parents. He told us that, “As we enter our second year as a program we are striving to continually work towards building a program of integrity and one that developments young men. With those goals we want to be at the forefront of helping young men fulfill their dreams in a manner that their families are comfortable. Our program is built to be a two way street. We want success for all young athletes whether they choose our program or not. Honest with the family and the athletes themselves is important to us here at Myrtle Beach Prep.”
The visit will not only will athletes finally be able to put a face, Coach Ikard, to a voice, but they will also have the opportunity to meet other members of the Myrtle Beach Prep staff. These members include, but are not limited to, Harold Kane, Joe Brondhaver, and Rob Conroy.
