How do students benefit from a postgraduate year?

What are the chances my son earns a scholarship to a four year school?
While there is no guarantee of an offer if you enroll in a prep school, we have helped players receive offers from four year programs at all different levels of competition. (FBS, FCS, D2, D3, NAIA) In some situations, an “offer” could be an academic offer from a Division 3 school. Any combination of financial aid, athletic aid, and academic aid will help get your son into a four year school.
How will my son get his film seen and get recruited?
Myrtle Beach Collegiate uses Hudl (www.hudl.com) for the creation of highlight tapes, film breakdown, film study, and recruiting. Players have access to their Hudl accounts so they can create their highlights and have a presentable professional “resume” for college coaches. Our players will have access to the connections and relationships our HC has built over 12 years in this business. Many colleges contact our Head Coach during their recruiting windows. Our program uses the 2 largest recruiting databases in the country to get student athletes exposure. Although college placement is not a guarantee we work tirelessly for the student athlete. To name a few: Syracuse, Coastal Carolina, Rutgers, UNC-CH, Louisville, Texas Tech have all inquired about athletes in our program.
Myrtle Beach Collegiate’s Motto “Culture Wins” Explained
- It means staying dedicated and sticking to a well-grounded methodology to accomplish a long-term goal. Creating a “culture” of betterment through life experiences.
- Many times our students come from an at-risk/disadvantaged backgrounds and ultimately will be left out of the secondary educational process without any other opportunities.
- While living at Myrtle Beach Collegiate, our students will be mentored by local families, business owners, churches, and organizations from the area during our weekly Tuesday night meetings.
- Our goal is to ultimately educate and nurture “good fathers, good husbands and leaders going forward in their communities”. We feel that regardless of a win/loss there is always something that we can learn. Our process teaches many young men the proper way to accept success and failure.
